Honey
Honey is a stunning deep red Lurcher, she is approx 2 years old and was rescued from a council pound where she had been for 7 days and as she was not claimed she faced euthanasia. She came to Green Acres emaciated and in general poor condition. After a few weeks of good food and TLC she has blossomed into a beautiful dog. Honey is looking for a very special home where her new owners would be 'dog savi' and help work through her issues. Honey is a lively dog with a good nature with people her only issues are that she has a very keen natural interest to chase so a home with no cats or small furries is a must. Also we guess that due to such a poor start she is sometimes aggressive towards other dogs (worse when there is food around) and also very possessive over her food. This is only a problem while she eats once she has finished she has no issues with anyone picking up bowl. He are ideally looking for a couple or family with older teenage children without other pets to give Honey a chance with patience her problems could be resolved and an excellent pet lies within - PLEASE HELP HER!

Molly
Molly is a 4 year old Lab x Staffy she is a lovely girl that is trustworthy with adults and children alike, she was originally like Honey a pound dog and was rescued once her 7 days were up, she was then homed and lived there for over a year but unfortunately was returned due to change of circumstance and no fault of her own. Molly has an issue with dog aggression but if she is walked on a lead or loose in a dog free area this is not a problem. Molly has excellent manners recalls in open spaces, sits, gives paw, travels well in car. She just needs someone to give her a chance. She needs a home with no other pets as she is not good with cats either. Molly loves activity and loves to play with kongs, rope and her football, loves nothing more than a kick about with the children in the field. Please give this poor dog a chance are you the family she can one day call her own?!
